Inflammation encompasses various branches of medicine. Increasingly we are finding that many life style diseases and non-communicable diseases have a large component of inflammatory secondary damage. In recent years there have been marked advances in clinical and basic research of different aspects of inflammation. Since 2017, the Society of Inflammation Research(SIR) has been organizing a successful forum for interaction between basic scientists and clinical practitioners with the field of inflammation as the key objective.
This year the conference focuses on the chronic inflammatory diseases like autoimmune, metabolic and other related diseases. Adequate knowledge of inflammation and its source is essential for mely intervention to improve disease outcome.
In India, many prestigious institutes are conducting research in this area. The SIRCON 2019 is a great occasion to meet fellow scientists and exchange ideas as well as connective to achieve beer outcome.
